Do you offer a free version of membership?
Yes! It doesn’t cost anything to become a member of the Cardboard Prospector Club! If you want benefits, including the Buyer’s Club, special content, access to giveaways, special groups, and regularly distributed gifts then you need to subscribe as a Collector level member or above.
Are there any benefits to becoming a Supporter member?
Supporter level members are listed on our website in the Member Shoutouts section and get a special “Supporter” badge next to their name on their profiles.
What is the Buyer’s Club?
We are a licensed business and online retailer, because of this we have an account with a hobby distributor which allows us to purchase hobby products at wholesale prices. The Buyer’s Club allows you to access hobby products at up to 20% off retail list prices. You can gain access to the Buyer’s Club by subscribing as a Collector level member or above.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. The price listed on our store products and Buyer’s Club products is the price you pay. We do charge shipping, which will be calculated and added to your order at checkout, and if you are shipping to an address within the Commonwealth of VA we have to charge you sales tax, also calculated and added at checkout.
What countries do you sell and ship to?
Membership is open to all countries, however we only sell and ship physical products to the United States including U.S. territories, and Canada at this time. We are not currently offering international shipping. We ship via the United States Postal Service, and all product purchases are insured with tracking to ensure delivery.
Who bills for my membership and purchases?
Cardboard Prospector is a service of Royal Leo Holdings, Ltd., a Virginia, USA registered corporation. Your bank and credit card statements will show our transactions as being billed by ROYALLEOHOLDINGS or ROYALLEO.
What payment methods are accepted for subscriptions?
We accept payment via PayPal subscriptions, or you can use your credit card/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or setup ACH bank payments using our Stripe checkout option.
Are there any commitments or term lengths on subscriptions?
No. Subscriptions are month-to-month and you can cancel at anytime by simply accessing your account and going to Membership -> Subscriptions. If you cancel in the middle of the month, you will have access until the end of the month and be reverted to a free account after subscription expiration.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at anytime by access your account and going to Membership -> Subscriptions. Click on the Change Plan link and select your desired subscription level (including the free membership).
Do you offer refunds?
No. Our membership plans are month-to-month and because you gain access to all benefits immediately after signing up, we do not offer refunds. You can always cancel your subscription if you are unhappy. We only offer refunds on product purchases if the items are damaged during shipping. All shipments are insured to safeguard us and you against damage. Items refunded must be returned using the return label provided to you.
Why do you ask for my address during registration?
Many of our membership levels include physical goods shipped to you every quarter as a thank you for being a member. We also randomly send gifts to members of our community that are highly active and contributing to the community. Please be sure to provide you shipping address to ensure you receive items included in your membership and/or our random gifts!
