About Cardboard Prospector

Hi, I’m Paulie, founder and editor of Cardboard Prospector. I started collecting sports cards when I was about 8 years old, with my passion being baseball cards. I grew out of collecting in my teens and spent the better part of my 20’s focusing on education and career. Now in my mid-30’s I have dove back in to collecting as well as speculating and investing in trading cards, comics, and collectibles. My favorite sport is baseball, and growing up I was a Seattle Mariners fan, collecting every single Mariners card I could get my hands on. I am an avid collector of everything Harley Quinn, including Funko Pop’s, comics, statues, etc. I like to write about ways to collect and invest and share my experiences in the collecting and investing world of trading cards and comics.

My other passion is cigars and I am the founder and editor of Cigar Informer, a website dedicated to cigar information, news, reviews, and related lifestyle interests.
